E-Bike Permits

To ensure student safety, our district has partnered with local law enforcement to implement an e-bike permit process for all students who wish to ride e-bikes to school. Please follow the below steps to receive a permit:

  1. Watch the mandatory e-bike safety training video with your student: TRAINING VIDEO
  2. Review the PUSD E-bike rules:  PUSD RULES
  3. Print and fill out the E-Bike Permit Request Form: PERMIT FORM
  4. Submit the completed form to Mrs. Smith in the front office by Friday, October 31st.

Permits are required for e-bikes and are separate from standard bike/scooter permits. Once the form is submitted, students will be issued an e-bike permit sticker. 

If you have multiple students riding one e-bike please fill out a separate form for each student. Also, if your family has more than one bike, please list the bike that will be used primarily by the student as only one permit per student will be issued. If your student has a current e-bike permit on file and PUSD sticker on their bike, there is no need to to fill out a new permit request form.

Please complete this process by Friday, October 31st. Students who have not obtained a permit by this date may temporarily lose the privilege of riding their e-bikes to school.
